"Everything is spotless clean and the common areas are great. The hostel is very secure, with security cards and everything else. The breakfast is good and the showers are very hot. Staff helps a lot and at night there are even free tapas and drinks. It was a fantastic hostel to be at!!"

"Our stay at Alberguinn hostel was amazing! The location is great cause it's about 5minutes away by metro to the Center of Barcelona and because the street near aren't so busy at night so you can sleep well. All the staff at the hostel speak many language so it's pretty easy to communicate with them! They are very hepfull and smily all the time especially a girl who was just awesome! She offered to guide us throw the city on her day off and we thank her for the awesome stay! Also the rooms are perfect clean all the time! They do all the dorms cleaning every single day! "The hostel is accessible from 3 different metro stops pl. del centre being the nearest one. I was aware that i was booking a dorm, so der was no disappointments or problems while i was staying der...the room was worth the money i paid and services offered were also excellent. Staff was extremely helpful and kind in offering assistance as much as possible. Every evening they prepared hot chocolate, sangria, tapas, etc... to keep the guests entertained. lounge area was really gud to meet ppl and kitchen was an added advantage to cook ur own meal.... i made new frens, loved my stay in Bcn and enjoyed every moment.. thanks to alberguinn...."

"Alberguinn Youth Hostel was amazing. Our corner room was spacious and had a lot of natural light. Breakfast was really good. I especially liked the chocolate cereal and the nutella for the toast. The staff was really friendly and helpful. A lot of tour and restaurant recommendations were available that made our trip even more fulfilling. Also, we met a lot of friendly people staying in our room with us. It was a great envrionment to live in and have as a base to explore Barcelona."

"There are too many good things at Alberguinn Youth Hostel to count! It is awesome! The staff are more than accomodating and EXTREMELY HELPFUL and FRIENDLY! :) I STRONGLY recommend that you stay here when you visit Barcelona! The rates are soooo reasonable and the services include: free breakfast, free internet, key card access (come and go as you please), etc. It is hard to find an apartment like the ones in Canada and the United States :S If you can....stay here as long as possible! LOL."

"The hospitality of the workers was fantastic and i was made to feel very welcome, I also feel that the rules in place work well. I have made some great friends and i feel this was largely due to the relaxed atmosphere and the security that the hostel has in place. The workers we're extremely helpfull and friendly and i did feel that i was catered for, more so than in any hotel i have been in. "

"A great hostel. Cheap and central location and very nice staff. We stayed in a 12 bed dorm room and it was very nice and clean. The breakfast which was included in the price was good and we didn't even have to do the dishes ourselves afterwards Also in the room each bed had a large locker so it was easy to keep the valuables safe. That the check out time was before 11 am instead of 10 am as is usual was also a bonus. I recommend this hostel. It was the best hostel I've stayed at for this price"

"What a great hostel. It's extremely clean and spacious. The lounge and kitchen near the lobby are large and relaxing and have free wifi. There's a tv and the hostel provides a handful of free movies for guests to watch if they want to stay in for the night. There are also occasional events, like hot chocolate night, that are all fun. The guests I met were sociable and friendly and the hostel employees were helpful. It's a fair distance from downtown, but there's a metro nearby."

"This is the best youth hostel I have ever been..The staffs are friendly and Security lockers are really helpful to keep the luggage(I never seen this facility in another hostels probably in other EU states).If you are a football fan, Camp Nou is a short walk from the hostel.I would highly recommend this hostel to everyone."

"This is a pretty good hostel. The rooms are large, bright and very clean. The staff are most helpful and informative. They will do everything possible to assist you when you have questions or needs. The breakfast was not what I had hoped for but, it was never the less provided and quite alright. The shower facilities are CLEAN!!! There are soap/shampoo dispensers in the large showers that give constant good flow of hot water and I feel good in recommending this hostel to anyone who would want to go to Barcelona... I am an American Travel Agent who has been travelling for two years straight and with my many experiences .. I honestly say.. I do recommend this hostel. "

Very Impressive Hostel. All new facilities, very clean, and staff was extremely friendly and all spoke English very well. Would definately recommend for anyone... I even stayed here alone and felt secure the entire time. Location is near metro (which is excellent in Barcelona) and on a not-so-busy street so the nights were quiet.

"The hostel is bright and clean. It is located on the second floor, so it took us a little while to find, but we were very satisfied with our stay. The continental breakfast was not exceptional with bread, Europa, jelly, cereal, and orange juice, but it was better than nothing. The staff knew our names when we came in and were friendly. "

I had a great time staying at Alberguinn and definately recommend it. You are not far from a train station and therefore everything is close at hand. Staff are helpful, polite and friendly. The other guests were also very welcoming and friendly.

By far the best hostel I've stayed at! Excellent location, great fun and over all the best staff. Definitely the place I will stay on my return to Barcelona. Alejandro el uruguayo.

"Immaculately clean, felt secure. Mostly guys staying here drinking beer and eating frozen pizza. Not a very cultural experience at the hostel itself, but it´s a nice clean friendly place to stay. "

"Pro´s: - very clean - friendly staff - washing and drying facilities - safe - near the train station - meat some poon Con´s: - no air-conditioning - staff want you to be quiet around 10pm so that neighbours aren´t disturbed - need to be out of bed by 11 for cleaner - need to take train into town, although this is only 10 mins on train or 5€ by cab if you come/leave home after the metro (underground train) shuts at 12am overall had a good time here, met plenty of nice people and the staff are helpful too. although it´s a fair way from town, it makes it quiet at night and you can therefore sleep pretty well. there are internet cafes close by, supermarkets and a bakery too. also near barcelona´s main train station Sants, so getting to/away there is easy. "

"Hostel was phenomenal. It has a great layout that encourages interaction among guests. Amazingly clean, it's one of the nicest hostels I've stayed at. Only downside to the hostel is that it needs to be quiet after 1 pm in the common room (the reason I gave it a 3 on fun instead of a 5), which I have been told they are working on. However, there is a nice park very nearby that is very clean, safe, and fun. Instead of hanging out in the hostel after 1 pm, we would just go down to the park and relax there if we wanted to talk or drink. "

"I visited Alberguinn over Xmas, 2007. Only stayed for one night, and had my son with me (age5), of which they were all really helpful, understanding and kind. Great facilities, very, very clean!, and v safe. Free breakfast, internet and kitchen area. V cool atmosphere. Showers are fab, and has a chilled-out, cosy atmosphere. "

"Searching for accommodation during the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona wasn't easy. There was accommodation available but the prices where skyhigh. For just € 16 a night included a simple breakfast this was the right offer for the right time. You don't have your own room, so if privacy is needed better search for a hotelroom, People are nice, front reception was fast and checkin was easy. The hostel is a 5 minute walk to the Barcelona Sants train station which connects in only 20 minutes to Barcelona Airport. Also at the trainstation you can catch the metro (tip: buy a t-10 card for 10 metrotips for less then 10 euro). The area is quiet, but just a few streets away there are bars. Also around are supermarkets for self catering."

"The hosel was really clean and staff were very much helpful and most important happy. The hostel is near Sants station for direct journies to the airoport and of course the rest of the city. Modern design with enough space for a common room and a kittchen Three computers are avialable for free to surfe the web. Also wi-fi was very powerful, I took the chance to download some cartoons for my son -:) "

"We stayed in this hostel only nine days after it opened! We only stayed for one night but it was very comfortable and very clean and is bright and modern with spacious rooms. It is very close to Barcelona Sants station where you can easily get to the center. I would definitely recommend it!"
